Stopping membership renewal

Cancellation in this guide means stopping a membership's next renewal. It does not describe cancelling a room or a day pass. Access continues through the term already paid for, and stopping renewal alone does not refund a payment.

Monthly notice

Stop monthly membership renewal at least seven calendar days before the renewal date. Calendar days include weekends. For a renewal on 30 September 2026, the seven-day notice point is 23 September 2026. Keep the actual renewal date from your account when working out your own notice.

Annual notice

Stop annual renewal at least 30 calendar days before renewal. Annual payment covers a longer term and has a different notice period from monthly membership. Do not use the monthly deadline just because an annual plan shows a monthly-equivalent price.

Cancellation procedure

  1. Open your member App.
  2. Choose Membership.
  3. Open Manage renewal.
  4. Choose Cancel renewal and review the displayed term and renewal date.
  5. Complete the account's confirmation step and retain its confirmation.

Viewing the control is not the same as completing it. The public demonstration keeps account-changing buttons disabled. An assistant explaining these steps cannot truthfully claim it has cancelled your membership unless an actual authorized action and confirmation establish that result.

After renewal is stopped, the current paid term continues. If you are asking for money back as well, read the separate first-purchase refund guide. Its 14-day limit, no-usage conditions and staff review are not replaced by the renewal notice rule. A later renewal is outside that first-purchase policy.

If the dates are unclear

Check whether the account is monthly or annual and use the latest membership confirmation. Send staff the renewal date and the question you need resolved. Do not borrow a deadline from a room booking, an old screenshot or a support concession for a different customer.
